Starting in 2000, Objective Control partnered with Corson
Manufacturing Consulting, Ltd., to create a next-generation coating
weight control system for steel galvanizing. This system brings to bear
all of Objective Control's experience with model-based control and
object-oriented software development for real-time systems, and it defines
the state-of-the-art in galvanizing control. Now Objective Control
and CMC have joined forces with A·C·T (see News)
to substantially strengthen the resources behind the product. |

Company Profile
Objective Control was founded in 1990 by Bob Wilhelm,
formerly Senior Principal Engineer at ABB Industrial Systems, Inc. Mr.
Wilhelm has over 30 years of industrial experience in the design and
development of advanced process control systems, and in real-time software
architecture. He was a pioneer in the application of Object-Oriented
technology to real-time systems. He is a registered Professional Engineer
in Ohio, and holds a number of patents in the area of sheet process control.
Objective Control's clients have included many of the major suppliers of
process control systems, such as ABB, Bailey Controls, Fisher Controls,
Honeywell, and Leeds and Northrup. The company also serves both large and small
industrial corporations who are users of control systems.
In addition to the process control field, Objective Control has provided
training and course development for other major real-time applications.
